 Citrus-Ginger Slaw


Ingredients for salad:

This is everything we want in a side: Fast, easy and super fresh! 

Crunchy-Citrus-Ginger slaw is way better than your average coleslaw and the perfect complement to a pulled pork sandwich. 

  • 1 1/2 heads Napa cabbage  
  • 1/2 head purple cabbage
  • 2 bunches of green onions
  • 1 white onion 
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cup pickled ginger


Fine julienne the cabbages, onions, carrots, and pickled ginger.

Set a side in large bowl.

Ingredients for dressing:

  • 2 oranges
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tbs fresh ginger minced
  • 1 tbsp light Olive Oil.
  • 2 tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs honey


In a small bowl zest the oranges, lemons, and limes. Then cut them in half and squeeze all the juice out. I like to use a lime press to get the extra juice out. Mix in the fresh minced ginger, olive oil, vinegar and honey. Once thoroughly mixed, pour dressing over the julienned veggies and let sit one hour in fridge, until chilled. 

Serve cold.
